Lens-Artist Challenge #232 – Evolution (Looking Back)

I’m not sure if this week’s challenge is Evolution or Looking Back as I have seen it both ways, but luckily I can do both with this one.

This week’s challenge has me going back to the place I love, Longboat Key, Florida.

When I moved there in 2016, I spent many evenings alone sitting and watching the sunset on the powder-white sand of the Gulf of Mexico. It healed my soul and refreshed my spirit, and we both evolved together.

The Day Evolves Into the Night

The images were taken on the same day at different distances with little editing on an older Samsung galaxy.

  1. What a beautiful set of images! My wife and I are currently in Florida for the month of January and it’s our first long-term staycation there. We are at Saint Augustine Beach on Anastasia Island, so there will be sunrise images to show at some point in future posts. πŸ™‚
